Applications are invited from the Citizens of India for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2012-13 for filling up 02 (TWO) posts each in Group D category , Scale Gr Rs.-5200- 20200 Grade Pay Rs-1800 ; for Jabalpur, Bhopal & Kota Divisions of W.C.Rly. Candidate fulfilling the following conditions may submit their application in the Pro-forma enclosed as Annexure “A”
1. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND AGE : 10 th pass / ITI / equivalent from recognised board.
2. AGE LIMIT: The age limit 18-33 years as on 01-01-2013. The lower and upper age limit indicated will be reckoned as on
01-01-2013. The upper age limit is relaxable as under subject to submission of requisite certificate.
a) By 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
b) By 3 years for OBC Candidates.
3. SCOUTING / GUIDING QUALIFICATIONS:
a) A President’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover
OR
Himalayan Wood Badge Holder
OR
A Pre-HWB trained Scout leader/Advanced Trained Guide Leader / Captain
b) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for at least 3 years in the recent past and
should continue to be active member.
c) Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level.
OR
d) Should have a good record of participation in Scouts / Guide activities at unit/District Level.
Note: The certificate of Scout / Guide should be issued prior to the closing date of this notification. The Participation certification
will not be considered as eligibility for 3 (a) above.

The given format should be neatly typed or handwritten either in Hindi or English. One Passport size photograph duly signed should be pasted on the application in the space provided and similar two passport size photographs duly signed on reverse should be clipped along with the application form.
