Applications are invited for group “D” posts against Scout-Guide Qouta-2011-12 in Delhi division from the eligible candidates .

1.Posts Group “D”
• Category – Group “D”
• Grade Rs. 5200-20200+ grade pay 1800
• No. of Vacancies 02 (Two)
• Minimum Education Qualification 10″‘ Pass from recognised school
• Age as on (01-09-2011) 18-33 yrs. for General Candidates
18-36 yrs. for O.B.C. Candidates
18-38 yrs. for SC/ST Candidates

2. Scout and Guide Qualification:
• President Scout/Guide/Rover/Ranger (OR) Himalaya Wood Badge Holder (OR) Pre Himalaya Wood Badge Trained Guide/Leader/Captain.
• Should have been an active member of a Scout-Guide Organisation for the least 3 (three) years in the recent past and should continue to be active.
• Should have attended at least one event at National level and one or two events at State level (OR) Should have a good record on participation in Scouts/Guides activities at Unit/District Level.
• Necessary testimonials concerning the Scout and Guide activities up to the date of application duly certify by District Commissioner(Scout/Guide).
3. Age relaxation:
Upper age relaxation for the following case only:
a. 5 (five) yrs. for SC/ST Candidates.
b. 3 (three) yrs. for OBC Candidates.

4. Examination Fee :
All applications should be accompanied by crossed Indian Postal Order(IPO) or A/c payee Demand Draft of any Nationalised Bank of Rs. 40/- (Rupees Forty only) towards examination fee SC/ST and Ex. Service men candidates are exempted from paying examination fee. The Postal Order or Bank Draft should be drawn in favour of District Commissioner(Scout), Northern Railway Bharat Scouts and Guides, Delhi District. The validity of bank draft should be minimum 6(Six) month. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provide in the postal order/bank draft. The examination fee is not refundable under any circumstance.
5. Application Procedure:
• Application are to be made only in the specific form as given below. Form should be typed on good quality A-4 size full scale paper.
• The application is liable to be rejected if any of the compulsory enclosures is not attached as indicated in the proforma or any column left blank.
• The form should be filled up in candidate own handwriting as per proforma given in advertisement.
• Application should be filled in Hindi or English.
• Two passport size photograph in Scout Guide uniform. One should be pasted on the space
provided in the application and one should be clipped along with the application form.
• All the copies of certificates in regard to age, qualification etc. duly attested by Gazetted Officer should be enclosed along with the application.
• The application is liable to be rejected if more then one application filled by the candidate.
• Application in the following format with necessary enclosures should be sent by ordinary post to Divisional Personnel Officer-I, Divisional Railway Manager Office, New Delhi or may deposit in the box kept for this purpose.
• The Railway Administration in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection application etc. will be final and no inquiry or correspondence will be entertained on this account. The Railway Administration does not take any responsibility for sending reply to candidates if not selected or not called for Selection/Test.
• Candidates working as Railway Employee/Govt. Employee or Employee of Govt. Undertaking/Enterprises should sent their application through proper channel.
• Application will not accepted after last date. Last date submition of application 09.11.2011 (09th,November 2011) up to 17:30 Hrs.
• The Railway Administration has authority to cancel this recruitment in any circumstance.
• Selected candidates will be informed by DAK for written test / Interview as per schedule given below:

Training center, Knowledge of books Scouting for Boys/ Guiding for Girls in India, Motto Left hand shake, Salute, Prayer, Flag Song, National Anthem, Know the National & Scouting Flag, Social Service at various occasion, Hiking, Proficiency Badges, How are these are earned?, Stages in Scouting & Guiding, Thinking Day, Progressive Training of Scout/ Guide/ Rover & Ranger, Pioneering, Handicraft, Indian Railway Jamborette, National Jamboree, Jamboree on Air.
