SPORTS’ NORMS FOR RECRUITMENT
The minimum sports norms for recruitment of sports persons against sport quota through Open advertisement for both (team and individual) events shall be as under:
For PB-I moo- 20200 + Grade Pay Z 2000/1900 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-02/03)
- Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/events as Categorized in Para 2.1 below OR
- At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Champions/events as Categorized in Para 2.1 below. OR
- At least 3rd Position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Champions. OR
- At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. OR
- At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. OR
- 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
B. For PB-I 25200- 20200 + Grade Pay 22400/2800 (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-04/05).
- Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category-A) OR
- At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-B Championships/events as Categorized in Para 2.1 below.
About North Central Railway:
The North Central Railway (abbreviated NCR and उमरे) is one of the seventeen railway zones in India. The largest railway station in NCR is Kanpur Central. It is headquartered at Allahabad and comprises three divisions: reorganized Allahabad division of the erstwhile Northern Railway, Jhansi division of the erstwhile Central Railway, and new Agra division. The North Central Railway, in its present form, came into existence on 1 April 2003. The North Central Railway present network extends over a large area of North Central India, covering the states of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana. By December 2017, railways for the first time installed 6,095 GPS-enabled “Fog Pilot Assistance System” railway signalling devices in four most affected zones, Northern Railway zone, North Central Railway zone, North Eastern Railway zone and North Western Railway zone, by doing away with the old practice of putting firecrackers on train tracks to alter train divers running trains on snail’s pace. With these devices, train pilots precisely know in advance, about the location of signals, level-crossing gates and other such approaching markers. The North Central Railway, in its present form, came into existence on 1 April 2003. IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY BEFORE APPLYING: The candidates should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed for the post/examination. Admission of the candidates for the written examination(s) for the posts notified in this notification would be on the basis of the information furnished by them in the ONLINE application. If at any stage of recruitment or thereafter, it is found that any information furnished by the candidate in his application is false /incorrect or the candidate has suppressed any relevant information or the candidate otherwise does not satisfy the eligibility criteria for the post(s), his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith.
HOW TO APPLY
- Candidates should apply only through ONLINE mode by visiting the website of http://www.rrcald.org. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the instructions available on the website. The onus is on the candidate to prove that all the information provided/ submitted by him/her in the application is true.
- Candidates are required to carefully fill/provide all the details information regarding personal details/Bio-Data, Examination fee etc. through ONLINE application.
NOTE-I: Candidates should ensure that their Name, Fathers Name, Date of Birth should exactly match as recorded in Matriculation or equivalent certificate. Any deviation found during Document Verification will lead to cancellation of candidature and also to debarment. In case any candidate has formally changed the name, then gazette notification or any other legal document, as applicable should be submitted at the time of Document Verification. Such candidates should indicate their changed name. However other details should match with the matriculation certificate.
INVALID APPLICATIONS/REJECTIONS: Candidates are requested to read all instructions thoroughly before submitting ONLINE application. Otherwise their applications are likely to be rejected on one or more of the following reasons. In case the application is rejected, candidates will be able to view their status ONLINE on the website of RRC along with the reasons for rejection(s). SMS and e-mail alerts shall also be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers and e¬mail IDs, if indicated in their ONLINE application. Candidates will not be intimated by post regarding the reason(s) of rejection.
CONDITIONS FOR RECRUITMENT
- Before applying candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the minimum eligibility norms as given in Para 2, 3, 4 & 5 above.
- The name of the candidate and father’s name appearing in school/college certificates and in sports certificates should be one and the same. There should be no difference. The specific position (Free Style/Goalkeeper/Defender/Forward/67 Kg./92 Kg. etc.) played in the particular game/event if applicable should be mentioned in the application without fail.
- For posts where there is initial training prescribed, candidates has to qualify the training before posting. A caste certificate on the prescribed format for recruitment in Central Government services issued by the competent authority in the case of OBC & SC/ST should be uploaded for the purpose of taking relaxation as admissible.
The Selected Candidates can be posted anywhere & on any posts as per administrative requirements.
