Notification For 21 Athletics & Ball Badminton Post Vacancy – South Central Railway
Applications are invited from eligible sports persons in the following fields in prescribed format (Annexure-l) to recruit 21 (Twenty one) sports persons in Group ‘C’ posts in Grade Pay Z2000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC) in Pay Band of 75200-20200 against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement for the year 2019-20 in South Central Railway. Pay Band 75200-20200 with Grade Pay 72000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC)

2. Age limit: 18 to 25 years as on 01-01-2020 (No relaxation in lower or upper age limit for any Category of candidates)
3. Educational qualifications: Minimum pass in 10th or SSC or equivalent with ITI for Grade Pay 71900/- (ITI is essential for considering in Technical Trades). For other categories in Grade Pay-2000 to 1900 is 12th (+2 Stage) or Intermediate or Equivalent Examination.

About South Central Railway
South Central Railway was formed on 02.10.1966 when Hubli and Vijayawada Divisions of Southern Railway and Sholapur and Secunderabad Divisions of Central Railway were carved out and merged into a new Zone. Subsequently, Guntakal Division of Southern Railway was merged with South Central Railway on 02.10.1977 and Sholapur Division was remerged with Central Railway. Secunderabad Division was split into two Divisions viz. Secunderabad and Hyderabad on 17.02.1978. Following re-organisation of zones and Divisions with effect from 01.04.2003, two new Divisions viz., Guntur and Nanded were operationalised duly transferring Hubli Division to newly formed South Western Railway.
Presently S.C. Railway has 6 Divisions, viz, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntakal, Guntur and Nanded. South Central Railway predominantly serves the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra and to a limited extent, portions of Karnataka, Tamilnadu & Madhya Pradesh states.
General conditions
Candidate will be subjected for their fitness in the relevant medical classification during the medical examination by Railway Medical Authorities prior to his/her appointment in the allotted post after due selection.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free travelling authority in second class when called for trials.
No TA/DA, Accommodation will be provided while appearing the selections/trials/ interviews. Candidates should come prepared to stay at the place of trials for 2-3 days at their own cost. They have to bring their own sports kit Jequipment for the trails.
(iv) Non-fulfillment of any of the criteria mentioned in the Advertisement will make the application liable for rejection at any stage.
(v) Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Central Railway.
Important instruction
The decision of Railway Administration in connection with the selection is final. For non-selection of the candidates no correspondence will be entertained. The Railway Administration will not be responsible for any postal delay or wrong delivery. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidate.
Applications which suffer from the defects such as unsigned, incomplete, illegible, applications without enclosures, without prescribed fee, applications not in the prescribed format, without attested copies of certificates/testimonials and the application which in the opinion of Railway Administration are otherwise invalid, will be rejected at any stage.
