Notification For 21797 Inspecting Engineers in Mechanical & Elect. Post Vacancy – RITES
1. RITES Limited is a Government of India Enterprise under Ministry of Railways. The company is. specializing in providing professional comprehensive multidisciplinary services in the field of engineering consultancy, transportation, and infrastructure. RITES conducts Third Party Inspection of various type of materials for Railway and Non-Railway clients.
2. Northern Region of RITES Limited intends to formulate a panel of Inspecting Engineers who will be appointed in RITES on deputation basis for the Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.

3. Accordingly the applications are invited from willing individuals who are presently working in Zonal Railways, Production Units, Railway Board, R.D.S.O. or attached offices of Railways/PSUs under ministry of Railways.
Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years experience or AMIE (Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering) having passed Section “A” & “B” of the Institution of Engineers India at least 5 years experience or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with at least 10 year experience.
Work Experience Required:
Candidate should be experienced in Maintenance, Production, railway design, operation of Rolling Stock, Workshop operations, Quality Assurance including Third Party/Second Party/Internal Inspection. Certification courses in radiographic testing non destructive testing or similar professional expertise in quality assurance is desirable.

Established in 1974 by the Government of India, the company’s initial charter was to provide consultancy services in rail transport management to operators in India and abroad. RITES has since diversified into planning and consulting services for other infrastructure, including airports, ports, highways and urban planning. On-shore WDS6 Diesel Loco Leasing service has been introduced. It was awarded the status of MINIRATNA in 2002.
It has executed projects in over 62 countries on every major continent. As of 2011, it was executing projects in over 30 countries.
Age:
The candidate should be 52 years of age or below as on the date of issue the circular.
Working in Pay Band/Level:
Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 having minimum Grade Pay Rs.4200(Pre-revised)/ Level-6 in 7th CPC or equivalent IDA Pay Scale
Cooling off Period
Applicants who have worked on deputation to RITES QA division shall be considered for appointment only after they have completed cooling off period of three years.
5. The candidates selected and placed on the panel shall, on appointment in RITES, be entitled to Deputation Pay + Expert Professional Allowance + other allowances, if any, in addition to their parent pay as decided by RITES Management from time to time.
6. The applicants shall be shortlisted on the basis of their bio data. The short listed candidates shall be interviewed and placed on the panel, if found suitable. The empanelled persons, on appointment in RITES, are liable to be posted at different locations falling under the Northern Region.
7. Quality Assurance Division of RITES limited has 5 Regional offices with Head Quarters at Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bhilai and Mumbai. As such candidates can be posted in any region within India. But applicants are advised that generally they shall be considered for deputation in the region where they are applying for. Applicants can give choice for preferred place of posting but there is no guarantee that candidate shall be posted at their station of choice and shall be posted as per requirements of RITES.
8. The period of deputation in RITES will be for 3 years, further extendable as per extant rules.
9. Applicants who have already applied under previous notification should apply with fresh bio-data.
10. Applications of willing personnel, who fulfill the above requirements, may kindly be obtained and duly forwarded by the Controlling Authority along bio-data in the enclosed format, copies of confidential reports (Year ending March 2015 to March 2019) of the applicants for the last 5 years, D&AR/SPE, Vigilance clearance and No Objection Certificate so as to reach the undersigned latest by 31.08.2019 on the following address.
