20 Vacancies of Commercial Clerk category (UR-11, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-01) & 194 Vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot category (UR-99, OBC-52, SC-29, ST-14) were notified under GDCE vide HQ/ECR’s Notification No.ECR/ HRD/ Rectt/ GDCE/2016 dt.19.04.2016. Written examinations were held by Railway Recruitment Cell/ECR/Patna on 08.04.2017 & 09.04.2017.
2. Based upon the performance in the written examination, (for ALP, Written Exam & Aptitude Test), shortlisted candidates were called for Document & Candidature Verification for the following categories:
i. Commercial Clerk Category: 20 candidates (UR-11, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-01) were called for Document & Candidature
Verification in the main list. In addition to these 20 candidates, 08 additional candidates (UR-04, OBC-03, SC-01, ST-00) were also called for Document & Candidature Verification as 30% extra candidates.
Assistant Loco Pilot: On the basis of performance in Written Exam and Aptitude Test, 194 candidates (UR-99, OBC-52, SC-29, ST-14) were called for Document & Candidature Verification in the main list. In addition to these 194 candidates, 86 additional candidates (UR-51, OBC-27, SC-03, ST-05) were also called for document & Candidature Verification as 50% extra candidates.
The Document and Candidature Verification was held at Railway Recruitment Cell, Poson Complex, Dighaghat, Patna on 04.10.2017, 05.10.2017 & 06.10.2017. After Document and Candidature Verification and subsequent Medical Test, Provisional Panel on the basis of merit has been prepared for the following categories:
(i) Commercial Clerk Category: 23 Candidates appreared in the Document Verification process. Candidature of 01 candidates bearing Roll No.14200115 was rejected. 22 candidates were sent for Medical Examination. Out of 22 candidates found fit in requisite medical category, 19 candidates (as UR-11, OBC-05, SC-03, ST-00) have provisionally been empanelled on the basis of community-wise merit. The provisional panel is attached as Annexure-I.
(ii) Assistant Loco Pilot: 273 Candidates appreared in the Document Verification process and were sent for Medical Examination. Out of 257 candidates found fit in requisite medical category, 194 candidates (as UR-99, OBC-52, SC-29, ST-14) have provisionally been empanelled on the basis of community-wise merit. The provisional panel is attached as Annexure-II. These Panels are totally provisional and appointment of candidate as Commercial Clerk & Assistant Loco Pilot will depend completely on fulfilling all other conditions like passing the requisite training (if any), being free from SPE/Vig/DAR cases etc and fulfilment of other pre-recruitment formalities.
The provisional panel is being sent to General Managr (P)/ECR/Hajipur. Further action for appointment will be taken by GM (P)/ECR/Hajipur’s Office. While every care has been taken in preparing the above Panels, Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent error or typographical mistake. Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway regrets it’s inability to entertain any correspondence from unsuccessful candidates. For any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be at Patna only.
