21 Vacancies of Junior Clerk category (UR-11, OBC-06, SC-03, ST-01) were notified under GDCE vide HQ/ECR’s Notification No.ECR/HRD/ Rectt/GDCE/ 2016 dt.19.04.2016. Written examination was held by Railway Recruitment Cell/ECR/Patna on 09.04.2017. On the basis of performance in the Written Examination, 179 candidates were shortlisted for Typing Skill Test. Typing Skill Test was organized on 27.07.2017.
Based upon Community-wise merit in the Written Examination, 21 candidates (UR-11, OBC-06, SC-03, ST-01) from among those who qualified Typing Skill Test were shortlisted for Document & Candidature Verification in the main list. In addition to these 21 candidates, 05 additional candidates (UR-03, OBC-02, SC-00, ST-00) were also called for Document & Candidature Verification as 30% extra candidates.
The Document and Candidature Verification was held at Railway Recruitment Cell, East Central Railway, Polson Complex, Dighaghat, Patna on 12.12.2017. After Document and Candidature Verification and subsequent Medical Test, Provisional Panel on the basis of Community-wise merit has been prepared.
19 Candidates appeared in the Document Verification process. These 19 candidates were sent for Medical Examination. 01 Candidate having roll no-14090326 absented in Medical Examination to whom one more opportunity will be granted for Medical Examination. From candidates found fit in requisite Medical Category, 17 candidates (as UR-10, OBC-06, SC-00, ST-01) have provisionally been empanelled on the basis of community-wise merit. The provisional panel is attached as Annexure-I.
The Panel is totally provisional and appointment of candidate as Junior Clerk will depend completely on fulfilling all other conditions like passing the requisite training (if any), being free from SPE/Vig/DAR cases etc and fulfillment of other pre-recruitment formalities.
The provisional panel is being sent to General Manager (P)/ECR/Hajipur. Further action for appointment will be taken by GM (P)/ECR/Hajipur’s Office.
