Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Railway NER Apprentice Recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* The candidate should have already passed the prescribed qualification of High School/10th with minimum 50% marks.
* The candidate should have completed an ITI in a notified trade on the date of issue of notification (i.e., October 16th, 2025).
* The candidate’s age must be between 15 and 24 years as of October 16th, 2025.
* Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process
The selection of eligible candidates for the Railway NER Apprentice Recruitment will be based on a merit list prepared by averaging the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examinations. The candidates will be allotted units/place based on their merit position.
Document Verification
Candidates provisionally selected for Document Verification will be called for Document Verification at Gorakhpur and must bring a copy of the online application form, Medical Certificate in prescribed format, 04 passport-sized photographs, all original certificates/testimonials for verification purposes.
Apprentice Training
The apprentice training of successful candidates will be started at allotted Division/Unit.
