Educational Qualifications

Essential Minimum Qualification:
- Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for NTPC categories.

- Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship approved by NCVT/SCVT for technician categories.

- Matriculation plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT for technician categories.
Note: The 50% marks criterion is not insisted upon for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and those with qualifications higher than the essential minimum prescribed.
