Selection Process

The selection process for the OCES/DGFS-2026 programme consists of two steps:

1. Screening of candidates through an online screening examination in specified engineering and science disciplines
2. Selection Interview conducted through GATE-2024, GATE-2025 or GATE-2026 scores in relevant GATE subjects

Final selection is solely based on performance in the Selection Interview, subject to medical fitness as determined by DAE doctors.

Service Bond

Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement and a personal indemnity bond to serve the Department of Atomic Energy for at least three years after completion of training, covering stipend, book allowance, tuition fees, and related grants as applicable.
