Job Description
- As a member of Data Analytics Group, the officeri is required to work on use cases requiring application of methodologies from statistical learning, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI)
- A broad category of duties to be performed under this profile are as follow:
- Interface with internal customers (various department of Indian Railway)to understand the business business and identity opportunities for applying data analytics
- Interface with CRIS Groups/Technical personnel to understand existing data structure and IT processes and develop data lakes
- Develop solutions for the problem using techniques from staistics/MI/AI and implementing them in collaboration with CRIS IT team
- Working with end-users to validate and enhance the developed and implemented tools
- Communicating status and findings to senior management and key stakeholders.
Eligibility
- Group A officers working in Level 10/11/12 as per 7th CPC pay matrix in Indian Railways/Central Govt. or Indian Statistical Service (ISS) with a background in Statistics are eligible to apply
- Bachelor’s degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics
- Knowledge of Python or R is essential
Age: Not more than 40 years
