Apprenticeship Training of Engineering Graduates in Civil, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication streams under Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1973 and 1986 and 2014 — Document verification & screening of candidates
A list of 105 candidates forwarded by the Board of Apprenticeship Training, Northern Region (Delhi Extension Center) vide their letters No.BT/AA-9290L/1998 dated 17.2.2017 and 10.3.2017 to RVNL is attached as Annexure 1
Eligibility Condition:
a) Should have qualified Engineering Degree in the relevant (Civil/Electrical/Electr. & Telecommunication) engineering stream.
b) Should not have undergone similar Apprenticeship Training earlier.
After verification of documents, those found fulfilling eligibility criteria and other conditions
will be screened on the same day, to adjudge their suitability for the Apprenticeship position. All candidates are advised to read and follow the instructions/conditions given under item 3 below
General Instructions:
(a) Reservation of apprenticeship positions: As Government guidelines in respect of reservation SC/ST/OBC/PWD shall be followed.
(b) Stipend : As decided by RVNL, subject to minimum prescribed rates governed by Apprentices Act.
(c) Selection Procedure: Short-listing candidates for the Apprenticeship Training
will be based on screening, subject to candidates fulfilling the eligibility  conditions.
(d) Travel/Boarding/Lodging expenses: No Travel/Boarding or lodging expenses are payable. Candidates will make their own arrangements for
travel/boarding and lodging.
(e) Please note that RVNL has no obligation to offer any employment to the apprentice on completion of Apprenticeship training.
(f) Candidates are required to bring the following ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH ONE SELF ATTESTED XEROX COPY :
Bio data duly signed with a photograph pasted on top-right hand corner. Proof date of birth – 10th/Matriculation certificate. Engg Degree Certificate or Provisional certificate along with Consolidated mark sheet Community/caste/physical disability certificate, if applicable Character certificate signed by a Gazetted officer
(g) Candidates who fail to report for screening/document verification as per  schedule indicated or failure to furnish listed documents will not be afforded another chance to appear in screening.
