Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), a professionally managed Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Railways, provides multi-modal logistics solutions to promote business and trade. We need services of a suitable officer having experience in the area of industrial manufacturing & management and having worked in Public Sector Undertaking(s), to be inducted in the following post on Deputation Basis:-
Name of the post: Gr. General Manager (C&O)/ E8 grade / 21,20,000-2,80,000
1. Method of selection: On Deputation basis only.
2. Place of Posting : The incumbent is liable to be posted anywhere in India as per Company’s requirement from time to time, especially where the company is developing Integrated Logistics & Manufacturing Zones (ILMZs).
3. Job Description:
The incumbent will be responsible for development of ILMZs and the logistics & distribution network thereof, identification of business opportunities and formulation of business plan and expansion of business in these ILMZs, bringing about establishing a hub for manufacturing, warehousing & value addition activities, promotion of rail-cum-road movement of cargo, liaisoning with State Govt., Railway Authorities, Shipping lines, Road Transport Operators, etc.
4. Eligibility Criteria :
The officer should be working in PSU in pay-scale of Z1,00,000-2,60,000/E7 grade (IDA) or above and should fulfil the following eligibility criteria:-
a) Educational Qualification: B. Tech. Degree / Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.E.) from a recognized Institute/University duly approved by Govt./recognized by AICTE/UGC. A PG degree (M. Tech)/MBA in Management is desirable.
b) Experience: Minimum 30 years engineering and managerial
experience in the areas including industrial manufacturing & management, marketing & distribution network, formulation of business strategies for development of Green Field projects, liaisoning with State Govt./Railway Authorities/ Shipping lines. Minimum 5 years experience should be in pay-scale of Z1,00,000-2,60,000/E7(IDA) and/or above grade.
c) Age: Max. 58 years as on 01.04.2018.

d. Attested copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last 03 years should be enclosed along with D&AR and Vigilance Clearance in respect of the applicant by the forwarding authority.
