Scale of Pay:
– On Deputation Basis: Parent Cadre Pay + Deputation Allowance + Special Charge Allowance of Rs. 2000 per month
– On Immediate Absorption Basis: Rs. 150,000-300,000 per month (E9 Level)
Important Update: The closing date of Vacancy Notice No. 2023/IRCON/CIVIL-15, initially issued on September 14, 2023, has been extended until November 19, 2023. All other terms and conditions of the vacancy notice remain unchanged.

- A reimbursement of Rs. 6000 per month for Entertainment expenses for E8 level officers on deputation in IRCON.
- Reimbursement of expenses per minimum wages laid down for unskilled workers, as per respective State Govt. depending on place of posting of deputationist.
- Lease/HRA/Option of retention of accommodation provided by Railways as per Railway’s policy for retaining the family at the previous place of posting.

Qualification and Experience:
– IRSE Officer working in SAG scale with a minimum of 4 years’ service in SAG, with experience in construction earthwork, bridges, track.
– The officer must have secured an overall grade of “Outstanding” in not less than any “3 out of 5” preceding Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) / Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs).
– Relevant extensive experience and requisite knowledge in the same field.
– Good communication skills are essential.
– An officer with a well-rounded skill set will be preferred for selection.
Age Limit:
– For Deputation Basis: SAG level officers should not exceed fifty-eight years on the closing date of the application.
– For Immediate Absorption Basis: Balance service at the time of absorption should not be less than 5 years.
Selection Process: Candidates will be required to give a power point presentation to the Selection Committee to assess their ability, vision, construction earthwork, bridges, track skills, and strategies for taking the company forward.
Exemption: The Ministry of Railways has approved the exemption from the rule of immediate absorption for Railway Officers on deputation to IRCON for a period of three years from August 31, 2020, vide their letter No. 2008/PL/45/4 (pt.), dated 09.03.2021 & No. 2020/PL/44/14, dated 29.11.2021.
Cut-off Date for Eligibility: The eligibility cut-off date is the closing date of the vacancy notice.
