Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for BEL Engineering Assistant Trainee and Technician C posts, candidates must have completed their diploma in engineering from a recognized institution or completed the ITI course. The maximum age limit to apply is 28 years, with age relaxation applicable as per rules.
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institution
- Technician ‘C’: SSLC + ITI + 01 year apprenticeship OR SSLC+03 years National Apprenticeship Certificate Course
- Age Limit: Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years Maximum Age limit: 28 Years (with age relaxation applicable as per rules)
Candidates who meet the above requirement can apply online through the official BEL website. The application fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates is Rs. 500 + 18% GST = Rs. 590/-. For SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-servicemen, the application fee is exempted.

Selection Process
Candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the Computer Based Test to be held at Bengaluru. Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be sent an SMS and email. They are required to log on to the BEL website and enter their credentials to access and download their Computer Based Test Call Letter.
