Applications are invited from the citizens of lndia in the prescribed format from eligible and meritorious Scouts & Guides candidates for filling up 02 (Two) posts in Group ‘C’ category in Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay t.1900/- (Vl CPC) and 07 (Seven) posts in erstwhile Group ‘D’ in Pay Band-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay T. 1800/- (Vl CPC) against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2016-17 as under:

Age Limit : Minimum and maximum age limit is for Group C 18 to 29 years and for Erstwhile Group D 18 to 32 years (as on 01.01.2017)
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- through Postal order in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer/HQ, South Western Railway, Hubli, payable at Hubli. No fee is required to be paid by SC/ST /PH/Women candidates.
General Condition:
- Before applying to the post, the candidate should ensure that heishe fulfils all the eligibility conditions.
- The name & initial of the candidate & father’s name appearing in School/College certificates and in Scouts & Guides certificates should be one and the same. There should be no difference.
- Candidates applying for more than one post (i.e. For Group’C’post and for erstwhile Group ‘D’ post) shall submit separate applications with separate IPO as fee and documents.
- The candidates serving in any Government Department or Public Sector Undertaking including Railways should apply through proper channel or should apply directly with NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from the employer to avoid delay. Advance copy of the application from such candidates without’No Objection Certificate’ from the employer will not be entertained. Please note that no application received after the prescribed date will be entertained.
- The decision of the Railway Administration in all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the application, penalty for fake information and mode of selection shall be final & binding on the candidates.
Enclosures:
- The following enclosures should be firmly attached along with the application form. (lf the certificates are in a language other than English/Hindi, translation in
English/Hindi should also be enclosed, duly translated by an authorized trans lator). - Self attested/attested copies of Certificates in proof of academic qualification.
- Self attested/attested copy of Certificate in proof of Date of Birth (only 1Oth or equivalenUSchool Leaving Certificate will be accepted as proof of date of birth).-
- Self attested/attested copies of Certificates in proof of Scouts and Guides qualiflcation.
- Certificate of Activeness in Scouts & Guides activities as per Annexure-l of the Application form.
- Self attested copies of the supporting certificates/documents of Scouts & Guides events attended as furnished in Annexure-ll of the Notification.
- Self attested/attested copy of latest community certificate as per para 10.1 1
- Self attested/attested copy of Discharge cerlificate, if the candidate is an Ex-serviceman.
- Self attested copy of certificates in support of claiming age relaxation as per para 3.3 and examination fee under para 4(ii).
- Crossed lndian Postal Order(s) as indicated at para No.5.
- One extra passport size photograph.
