Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens, for recruitment on 02 posts against Cultural quota in Group “C” posts in Scale 5200-20200, Grade Pay Z 1900/2000 on N.E. Railway in the prescribed format given in this notice.
(1) DETAILS OF POSTS :
(I) Singer (SUGAM SANGEET) Male 01 Nos
(ii) Singer (SUGAM SANGEET) Female 01 Nos
(No posts is reserved for any particular community) Total 02 Nos
(2) Essential Qualification : (A) Educational : (I)For Technician -III : Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade ( Recognised by SCVT/NCVT), (ii) For other posts : 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks & in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman candidates. (B) Possession of Degree/Diploma/Certificate in music (Vocal) from govt. recognised institute.
(3) DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION : (i) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc. (ii) Prizes won at National level.
(4) PROCEDURE FOR RECRUITMENT : The candidates who apply in response to this notification and are found eligible for consideration for appointment, will be assessed on the following basis.
(A) Written test (Note : The written test will consist of objective type questions) 50 marks
(B) Assessment of talent in the relevant field on
(I) The basis of practical demonstration 35 marks
(ii) Testimonial/Prize etc. 15 marks
Total 100 marks
(5) Age : 18 to 32 years : (i) Age will be reckoned as on 01.01.2016. (ii) Age relaxations : for SC/ST Candidates-5 years. OBC Candidates- 3 years (A certificate on the prescribed format for employment under Govt. of India to be attached by the OBC Candidates).
(6) EXAMINATION FEE : Z 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) In the form of Indian Postal Orders (IPO), drawn in favour of Senior personnel Officer, RRC N.E. Railway, payable at Gorakhpur, IPOs issued before the date of issue of this Employment Notice will not be accepted and the Application Form will be rejected. Applications received with fee in the form of Demand draft/Cash/Cheque/Central Recruitment Fee Stamps and Money Orders will not be accepted and application form will be REJECTED. Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the postal order. The examination fee is not refundable/ transferable/adjustable under any circumstances.
(7) FEE EXEMPTION : SC/ST candidates, Ex-Servicemen, Persons with Disabilities, Women Candidates, Minority Candidates and Candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes are exempted from payment of examination fee (Self attested copy of proper certificate to be attached with the application form) Note : Economically backward classes will mean the candidates whose family income is less than the prescribed income limit.
How to apply : (i) Candidates should carefully read all the Instructions given in the employment notice before filling the application form. (ii) Application shall be submitted on a good quality white plain A4 size paper in the format given in this Employment Notice using only one side of paper (iii) The application should be filled in English or Hindi only. (iv) The application form should be filled by the applicant in his own handwriting using a blue & black ball point pen only. (v) Serving government employees should send their application through proper channel duly forwarded by their controlling officer. Last date will not be extended on Account of delay in Transmission of the application by the concerned office. However an advance copy of the application can also be submitted. (vi) Candidates belonging to SC/ST community shall submit their self attested copy of community certificates issued by the approprlate State Government authorities.
