Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Railways, is the IT wing of the Indian Railways. CRIS possesses state-of-the-art infrastructure at its Headquarters in New Delhi, and its Regional offices at New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Secunderabad, and Kolkata. CRIS is engaged in the development, implementation and maintenance of many major IT applications of the Indian Railways, including the well-known Passenger Reservation System (PRS), Next Generation E-Ticketing System (NGeT), Unreserved Ticketing System (UTS), Freight Operations Information System (FOIS), e-Procurement System (EPS), Track Management System (TMS), Crew Management System (CMS), Control Office Application (COA) etc.

CRIS require services of one Railway employee from each Zonal Railway with experience of working on IPAS or PRIME & AFRES or Accounts Application, on usual terms of deputation.The details of post given below:

- PB-2 (9300-34800) Grade pay Rs.4800/4600/4200
Location: New Delhi
Eligibility:
- Staff working in PB 2 Rs.9300-34800 GP Rs.4800/4600/4200 with at least one year experience of working on IPAS or PRIME & AFRES or Accounts Application are eligible to apply.
- Staff having knowledge of working in Computers will be desirable.

FA & CAO of each Zonal Railway is requested to nominate and forward name of one employee for deputation to CRIS having the above experience, who may be best suited to handle work related with IPAS and other accounts application from their zone. It may be given wide publicity. The application of willing staff may be forwarded along with D&AR/Vigilance clearance and APARs for last three years, to the undersigned at the earliest. The employee will draw parent pay which would have been admissible to him/her from time to time on the Railways plus deputation(duty) allowance. Closing date is 30 days from the date of issue of this letter.
