Rail Vikas Nigam Limited(RVNL), a mini-ratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways for fast track execution of Rail projects, requires the service of Engineering Degree holders having valid GATE 2015 or 2016 scores for engagement in Civil, Electrical & Single & Telecommunication Departments of RVNL on contract basis for its Project Implementation Units (PlUs) Located all over India. The engagement of successful candidate will be on contract basis (and not on regular basis) only initially for a period of three years, which may be extended further based on the performance of the candidate and the project requirement.

Place of posting: Selected Site Engineers, to the extent possible, will be posted in the RVNL projects in the States falling in the Region (as given in Annex. I) for which they have applied. However, RVNL reserves the right to post selected candidates anywhere in India as per its requirement. Only those candidates who are interested to serve anywhere in India need apply.
Mode of Selection: Mere applying for the post or possessing minimum qualification is no guarantee for an interview call. RVNL administration will decide short-listing of candidates for interview.
General Instruction:
- Candidates are required to use either GATE 2015 OR 2016 scores only in the application from. Only GATE 2015 or 2016 will be Accepted and earlier GATE Scores are not acceptable.
- Candidates for the post of site Engineers will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE 2015 or 2016 Scores. Candidates who are shortlisted for interview would be required to produce GATE 2015 or 2016 Score Cards as proof of their score, their educational qualification, Aadhar Card and other testimonials in original along with its self-attested copies. Those who are not able to produce these documents would not be admitted for interview.
- Date/Time/Place of interview : The venue and date of Interview given in Annexure-I are tentative. The exact Date/Place of interview will be published on the website of RVNL and the candidates advised about the same through SMS.
- Shortlisted candidates should report on time along with their original and attest copies of the testimonials in support or the data mentioned in their application as per the schedule. Candidates should also note that their candidature is liable to be rejected at any point of time in the event of failure to produce the documentary proof In support of the data mentioned in their application from and in the event of any discrepancy found at the time verification of the original documents
