Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as on January 1, 2027. The stated date-of-birth range is from January 2, 2002 to January 1, 2009. Any applicable age-related conditions or relaxation will be governed by the recruitment rules specified in the detailed notification.
Educational Qualification
The minimum academic qualification varies according to the pay level applied for:
- Pay Level 5 / Level 4: Candidates must possess a Graduation degree from a recognized university.
- Pay Level 3 / Level 2: Candidates require either 12th Pass; or 10th Pass with ITI/Apprenticeship.
- Pay Level 1: Applicants must have passed 10th or possess an ITI qualification.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed sports eligibility for the discipline and level against which they are applying.
Selection Process

Sports Trials: Candidates will be assessed on game skills, physical fitness and the coach’s observations during the trials. This component carries up to 40 marks.

Educational Qualification: The prescribed educational qualification carries up to 10 marks in the assessment.
Candidates will subsequently undergo verification of original documents and a medical examination according to the applicable standards. No TA/DA will be paid for attending sports trials or other stages of the recruitment process.
