On 10/03/2018, North East Frontier Railway announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed 10TH, 12TH for the position of Retired Staff.

Qualification: 10th, 12th. In view of the above, applications for re-engagement of Retired Railway Employees in exigency of services are hereby invited from the intending candidates who have already been retired from Railway Service and whose maximum age limit for re-engagement within 65 years as per prescribed performance.
2. The Retired Employees being re-engaged should have not been covered under the Safety Related Retired Scheme/Libralized Active Retirement Scheme for Guaranteed Employment for Safety Staff (LARSGESS). While re-engaging such staff medical fitness of the appropriate category will be obtained from the designated authorities as per existing practice (3) Suitability/Competency of the staff will be adjudged before such re-engagement and the issue of ther safety record as well as the safety and other operational reqwrement as needed are adequately addressed (4) Maximum age limit for which re-engagement.
