Educational Qualification :
For Sports Person (Category I) : Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with relevant sports achievements.
For Sports Person (Category II) : 12th passed with relevant sports achievements.
Nationality : Indian
Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years (as on 01.07.2017).
General Instruction:
- The selection will be conducted through trial and interview.
- Attested Caste Certificates (from appropriate Civil Authorities in standard proforma with Photograph) should be enclosed.
- Eastern Railway reserves the right to consider only those candidates who have the potential to strengthen Eastern Railway’s existing teams on the basis of field trials conducted.
- For individual events, the performance during the field trial may preferably be equivalent or better than the 3rd place (time/distance etc.) of last All India Railway Championships.
- All India Inter State Elite and Plate Group Championship Senior/Youth (U-23)/ Junior (U-19) Semifinalists of Elite Group Championships.
- All India Inter State Championships. Senior/Junior (U-19) Semifinalists of All India Knockout Stage.
- All India Inter Zonal Championships.Senior/Junior(U-19) Finalist.
- For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred Fifty) only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the Trial.
- The Examination Fee is payable in Indian Postal Order (IPO Payable at GPO, Kolkata) drawn in favour of‘F&CAO, Eastern Railway, Kolkata’.
- IPOs issued before the date of publication of this Employment Notice or after the closing date will not be accepted and the Application Form will be rejected.
- Application received with Cash/Cheque/Money Order/Central Recruitment Fee Stamps/ Demand Draft will not be accepted and will be rejected.
- Candidates must write their name, full address at the space provided in the IPO
