CLW manufactures electric locomotives — 25 kv ac loco with three phase ac drive, 25kv ac locomotive with dc drive. it is one of the largest Electric Locomotive manufacturer in the world. CLW also manufactures AC & DC Traction motors, Switch gears/Control gears, Bogies cast & fabricated, Wheel sets & Steel casting. Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW) has been named after the great freedom fighter, leader and statesmen Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das .
The production activity started on 26th January, 1950 the day when India became Republic. The initial product of Chittaranjan Locomotive Works was Steam Locomotive . In the period 1950-1972 Chittaranjan Locomotive Works turned out a total number of 2351 Steam Locomotives.
A walk-in-interview will be conducted to form a panel of doctors for their engagement as “Contract Medical Practitioners” on full time contract basis for one year duration in Chittaranjan Locomative Works/Chittaranjan onfollowing terms and Conditions

Pay Scale : Rs. 55000/- (for GDMO) & Rs. 65000/- (for Specialists)
Educational Qualification:
MBBS from a recognized university and must have completed one year rotating internship and should be in possession of valid Registration Certificste Issued by any of the state medical councils/ Medical Council of India. And in Case of Specialists, should passed Post Graduate qualifications/ Diploma /Degree in the Specialty recognized by MCI.
Age:Not exceeding 50 years as on 01.01.2016 (5 years age relaxation for SC/STs and 3 year for OBCs.Not Exceeding 65 years for retired railway doctors subject to maximum five terms of one year each.
Nature of Engagement: The engagement is purely on contractual basis for one year or till regular UPSC selected Doctors(ADMO/DMO) become available whichever is earlier. Further, the Service of these doctors are also terminable before the of one year.The Serviice rendered as contract doctors is a stop gap arrangement and will not have any bearing in respect of consideration of their period in case of regular selection through UPSC. It will also not confer any right for automatic regularization/absorption.
