Applications on good quality plain paper, in the given format, are invited from the citizens of India and from such other persons declared eligible by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India for filling up 5020 posts in Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 having Grade Pay of Rs. 1800 in Division(s), Workshop(s), Unit(s) of North Western Railway. For candidates staying in Andaman-Nicobar-Lakshadweep islands, closing date will be 02.03.2011 upto 17.00 hrs. Applications received after closing date and time will not be entertained. The envelop containing the application should be clearly superscribed “Application for Posts in Pay Band -1 of Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 1800 North Western Railway“. A candidate should submit only one application form, even if he/she intends to be considered for more than one or all categories. Candidate submitting more than one application form, will not be considered and even if such a candidate gets selected inadvertently, he/she will not be offered appointment. Date, Time and Centre of examination will be fixed by NWR based on administrative feasibility. No request for change of time, date and centre of examination will be entertained on any account. Candidate trying to use influence or unfair means would be disqualified. Candidates are advised to give their options in order of priority for categories and place of posting as per instructions given in para 5 and 6. However, this would not confer any right on the candidates. Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway reserves the right to allot the successful candidates against any of the available posts/place.
The recruitment will be conducted by the Railway Recruitment Cell, North Western Railway (hereinafter referred to as RRC-NWR). Number of posts to be filled on North Western Railway – Division/ Workshop/ Unit), designation of the posts, and scale of pay are indicated below for information of the candidates, However, the railway has the right to revise the designation along with multi tasking.
