A Walk-in-interview will be held for selection of Sr. Residents in the departments of Cardiology, Surgery, Anaesthesiology and Medicine at B.R. Singh Hospital, Sealdah, Kolkata-700014 on 08.05.2017.

Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs.15, 600/- to 39, 100/-, GP-Rs.6,600/-
Minimum Education Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree/DM/DNB or Diploma in the speciality of Cardiology from the University recognized by State/ Central Government.
- Candidates without PG qualification having at least 03 years experience after MBBS, out of which 01 year Jr.Residency from a Government Hospital or MCI recognized private hospital in the concerned speciality can be considered in case of non-availability of suitable candidates as mentioned above, In such cases where PG degree qualification is not available the period of engagement will be 1 year only. In the speciality of Surgery, Anaesthesiology and Medicine Candidates having only post graduate Degree passed within 03 years from the date of Interview will be considered.
Note:
- Tenure of Sr.Residency: The contract of appointment for Sr. Residents will be one year but the total period of Sr. Residents will be one year but the total period of Sr. Residency cannot exceed the maximum period of three years, subject to renewal/ extension every year.
- The MBBS candidates with 3 years experience will receive extension if by fresh slection process no MD/ DM candidate is available.
- The termination of contract can be done on one month notice or pay from either side.
- No TA, DA will be admissible for Interview and joining purpose.
- Suppression of any fact at any stage will make the candidature liable to be terminated forthwith.

Application is invited with CV and 01 recent passport size photograph (self attested) pasted on the proforma (to be collected from the office). All original documents (Madhyamik Admit Card, Professional Degree/ Diploma and Caste certificates, MCI Registration Certificates) with 02 sets of photocopy and 02 Passport size photographs are to be produced.
