Chennai Metro Rail Limited entrusted with the implementation of Chennai Metro Rail Project requires efficient, experienced and competent persons for the under mentioned post on deputation / contract.

Pay / Salary

Deputation – Pay being drawn plus deputation allowance and project allowance at 10% of Basic Pay each.

Option to draw pay and allowances as per the parent organization or to draw equivalent cadre pay scale in CMRL with IDA, HRA and cafeteria allowances of 20% of Basic pay

Note: Age, Qualification & experience stipulated above should be as on 28.10.2020. Age may be relaxed for deserving and experienced candidates.

Higher remuneration / post may be considered in case of candidate possessing higher qualification, experience and credentiality / expertise in the relevant field. Apart from the consolidated pay, benefits like Medical, Accident Insurance & Increment will be extended. Post and consolidated pay will be decided based on the experience and performance in the interview.

7. Candidates shall compulsorily provide an email ID for correspondence. All correspondence from CMRL shall be sent only through the email ID provided by the candidate.

Candidates who fulfill the above requirement may apply in hardcopy along with duly filled in application form (application form available in page No. 5 to 7) supported by Bio-Data and one set of self-attested copies of certificate of educational qualifications, experience, age, community and latest passport size photo through proper channel to the below mentioned address on or before 28.12.2020. Prescribed applications must be forwarded to CMRL through Post/Couriers service.
   • Duly attested copies of last 5 years ACRs of the applicant.
   • A certificate from cadre controlling authority as per the proforma mentioned below to the effect of vigilance clearance, integrity certificate and major or minor penalty statement (proforma available in page No.8)

Eligibility:

Must be a Graduate Engineer in Electronics or Communication/Electronics Engineering or a combination of any of these disciplines or equivalent degree.

Should have minimum 7 to 13 years of post-qualification experience with Railways/PSUs/ Engineering Industry /Consultants/Contractors, covering the following areas:  

1. Implementing design, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance of Electronic Interlocking Systems for Railway Applications/ AFTC based automatic signaling/ AFTC or Axle-counter based track detection systems/Train Protection & Warning Systems
2. Technical Tender documents preparation/Tender documents submission /Tender Evaluation / Contract Management In the above areas.

Implementation of design, installation, commissioning of OFC based back-bone communication systems, Wi-Fi networks in open bands, MAN/LAN systems, digital/IP exchanges, PA system, Surveillance system in Railway/Industrial environments, will be an advantage.
