Applications are invited in the prescribed format from Indian Citizens, for recruitment to posts in Pay Band-2 of Rs.9,300-34,800 & Pay Band-1 of Rs.5,200 – 20,200 in Southern Railway, against Sports Quota through Talent Scouting for the year 2012 – 2013 as detailed below:

AGE LIMIT: 18 to 25 years on the ‘Date of the Trials’.
In case of Sportsperson having outstanding sports achievements, the lower and upper age relaxation may be granted in exceptional cases with the approval of Railway Board.
HOW TO APPLY:
Application in the prescribed format, complete in all respects along with all the enclosures should be sent to the following address, in a cover, duly superscribing, “APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT AGAINST SPORTS QUOTA (TALENT SCOUTING) FOR THE YEAR 2012-2013”.

Applications sent by Courier will not be acknowledged. However, the agencies can drop the applications in the box kept in the office premises.
Applications submitted after the closing date will be taken subsequently if vacant quota exists.
Decision of Railway administration in all matters relating to recruitment will be final and binding on the candidates.
INVALID APPLICATIONS: Candidates must ensure that their application is complete in all respects. Applications which suffer from the following deficiencies will be summarily rejected.
Applications without photograph, unsigned applications.
Date of Birth column not filled or wrongly filled.
Applications without Left hand Thumb Impression.
Smudged / illegible Left hand Thumb Impression.
Applications without proof of Date of birth, Educational qualification, Sports achievements & other qualification etc.
