I Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Sportspersons in the following Discipline for Recruitment under Sports Quota through Open Advertisement for the year 2012-13 for tilling up the following posts:-
- Athletic/ Shot Putter / Cross Country Hammer/Discus thrower
- Long distance runners
- Wrestling / Greco roman
- Basketball: Center / Guard / Center Half / Forward
- Golf
Educational Qualification & age limit:-
PB-I
(5200-20200) Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
18-25 years
High School or equivalent examination passed.
PB-1
(5200-20200) Grade Pay Rs. 1900/-
18-25 years
High School or equivalent examination passed.
PB-1
(5200-20200) Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
18-25 years
10th pass OR ITI OR equivalent
NOTE: -1. No age relaxation (upper or lower) shall be permissible for recruitment through Open Advertisement.
2. No relaxation in minium educational qualification shall be permissible in the case of recruitment through open Advertisement.
3. For recruitment in Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-, Rs. 1900/- and Rs. 1800/- as above. achievements should be in the immediate preceding 02 years i.e. from 01.04.10 and the sports person should he an active player.
Mode of recruitment
The eligible candidates will be informed by post for trial. Recruitment will he done on basis of Trial. The candidates declared fit by Trial Committee will be considered for next stage i.e. Interview stage.
How to apply
I. Application in prescribed format on A-4 size good quality paper may be down loaded from the website www.rcUricliartrailways,gov.in may be typed neat & clean one side.
2. Application is to be filled up by the candidates himself in his/her own handwriting and must signed affixing a passport size photograph with clear face on the space provided and one should be attached duly attested.
3. Applicant will attach the attested photocopies of Educational and Sports achievements certificates. SC/ST/OBC candidates should also attach the attested copy of caste certificate on proper format.
4. Fee in the shape of crossed Indian Postal Order/Demand Drag of Rs. 60/- fir grade pay Rs. 2400/- and Rs. 40/- for grade pay Rs. 19001- & 1800/- (“NIL” in case of SC/S”F) to be prepared after the date of publication of this notice payable in favour of FA&CAO/Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala must be attached duly filled in.
5. Incomplete application form will be rejected.
6. Railway Administration will not be responsible for late delivery and postal delay.
7. I he last date & time for receipt of application in the office of the General Manager (personnel)- Recruitment Section, Rail Coach Factory. Kapurthala-144602 is dated 05-02-2013 up to 17.00 hrs.
8. Candidate superscribe clearly on the Envelope “Recruitment against Sports Quota 2012-13”.
9. Applications sent through registered letter will not be accepted.
10. Railway Administration reserve the right to cancel the Recruitment process in exceptional circumstances.
11. Under no circumstances applications received after the closing date and time will he entertained.
12. The sportspersons appointed against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement will undergo probation periods of two years.
13. the sportspersons recruited against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement will have to fill and sign the Service Bond for a period of five years.
14. The sportspersons appointed through Open Advertisement Quota, shall fulfill the minimum medical norms for the post, for which they will be appointed.
