CORRIGENDUM to the E. Notice No. RRC/CR/1/2012 Date: 07/08/2012
CENTRAL RAILWAY
RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL,
As per Railway Board letter No. E (NG)-II/2012/RR-1/14 dated 12/11/2012, the norms for Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which were mentioned in para 5.4 of the above mentioned notification have been revised as under:
Male Candidates
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 Seconds in one chance.
Female Candidates
Should be able to run for a distance of 400 meters in 3 minutes and 10 Seconds in one chance.
The candidates who wish to apply afresh, if not applied earlier for the above mentioned notification are advised to apply as per schedule given below :-
Closing Date & Time of receipt of applications 18:00 hrs. of 07.01.2013
Closing Date & Time of receipt of applications for residents of For candidates residing in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep. 18:00 hrs. of 23.01.2013
IMP NOTE : It is reiterated that the candidates who have applied earlier need not apply again, because two or more applications by the same candidate is liable for rejection of candidature. The all other conditions of the above mentioned notification will remain unchanged.
