Name of discipline:
(A) One Post-Classical Kathak Dance.(Full Classical )
(B) One Post-Classical Kathak Dance and Expert in any Folk Dance as a performer.
Eductional qualification:
Minimum High School or its equivalent .
Note:- Candidates are advised to enclose zerox copy of certificates duly attested by a Gazetted officer in support of Educational qualification and caste.
Essential Qualification
(i) For Kathak Dance:- Possessing Degree/Diploma/Certificate from Govt.recognized institutes/ University.
(ii) For Kathak Dance and Expert in any Folk Dance
(A) Possessing Degree/Diploma/Certificate from Govt.recognized institutes/University.
(B) Certificate from Govt./Private institutes regarding expertisation to perform any Folk Dance.
or
Certificate obtained regarding stage performance of Folk Dance.
Desirable:
(a) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/Doordarshan etc.
(b) Prizes won at National Level in above fields.
Mode of Selection:
(i) Screening test:- Followed by a written test (written test will consist of objective type question on Music, General awareness and General Arithmetic. The minimum qualifying standard of written test will be similar to RRB examination qualifying standard
(ii) Assessment of talent in the relevant field
(a) on the basis of practical demonstration and
(b) Testimonial Prizes etc.

(i) Applications are invited in the prescribed format as attached at “Annexure-A” with a recent passport size photograph pasted thereon bearing full signature of the candidate.
(ii) Attach two self addressed envelopes (one stamped of Rs. 5/- & one unstamped.)
(iii)Copies of document viz, Birth, Educational, Caste & Cultural qualification attached.
