Kutch Railway Company Limited (KRC), a Joint Venture of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Government of Gujarat, Kandla Port Trust and Adani Port and SEZ Limited, is looking for a suitable candidate for the post of its Managing Director. The position entails strong people management, coordination skills, good communication and interpersonal skills along with
problem identification / solving, and focus on continuous improvement and innovation to ensure superior and customer focused results at optimal cost. The candidate should be a capacity builder with a record of demonstrated leadership, strategic and creative thinking, collaborative development, and an ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a range of key stakeholders in railway sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
Graduate in any discipline with a total experience of at least 20 (Twenty) years in Railways or related industry. He should have relevant experience in project management/ project development/ project operation and maintenance of Railway systems/ marketing/financial management and profit centre approach/ cost control. Candidates having post graduate qualifications in technical/management disciplines with experience in managing the affairs of SPVs/ Companies/JVs on PPP mode concerned with the following functions in Railway, i.e., Railway Planning and Construction, Financing, Marketing and Commercial, and Operation & Maintenance may be given preference.
Age: not more than 57 years as on the date of advertisement (relaxable in the case of exceptionally deserving candidates).
Tenure: The tenure shall be for a period of three years extendable to five years.
Salary: The remuneration (Salary, allowances and perquisites other then PRP) of the MD will be the same as that of a Director of Schedule ‘A’ Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE). The MD shall also be entitled for Performance Linked Incentive as decided by the Company’s Board from year to year.
Location: The office of the MD is located at Delhi.
The appointment of MD will be made on the basis of permanent absorption in the company. Selection will be finalised after interview of all eligible candidates appearing on the date of interview. The eligible candidates will be intimated of the date & venue of interview by post/email.
The candidate has to submit his willingness for the post at the time of interview itself, clearly stating that he/she will join the post, if selected. If any candidate does not initially give his/ her willingness, he /she will not be interviewed. The selected candidate will have to join within 3(Three) months of issue of letter of appointment. Serving officer shall submit
NOC of employer at the time of interview.
