A. JOB DESCRIPTION:-
Director ( Rolling Stock & Systems) will be responsible for overall Administration for all systems projects for Nagpur Metro Rail including planning, design and architecture, tendering, contracting and, supervision of construction and Commissioning of the Rolling Stock, Traction, signalling & telecommunication, electromechanical works of station or depots & other buildings and all other electrical works pertaining to metro construction including utility shifting. He will also be responsible for project monitoring, interface management, quality assurance safety &cost control for the above systems.
B. ESSENTIALS:
- Degree in Electrical / or Degree in Electronics Engineering from an institution of repute.
- 25 years of Group ‘A’ /Executive Service with proven track record.,
- Minimum of 5 years experience of working in a Metro Rail/MRTS Organisation.
- Co-ordinating and Interfacing Experience in railway related discipline, such as Electrification, Track laying, Signalling, and Rolling stock, etc.
- Experience in presenting railway/Metro project to Commissioner of Railway Safety and coordination.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience at senior levels in maintenance of EMU coaches/Rolling Stock (preferably with 3 phase technology)& Traction EquipmentsOR Minimum of 8 years experience of senior level in maintenance, operations & commissioning of Modern Signalling System.
DESIRABLE:-
i. Experience of all phases of Metro/rail based urban transportation projects i.e. Project planning, Bid document Preparation and evaluation, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, Post Commissioning.
ii. Experience in bid-process-management based on international funding agency guidelines.
iii. Experience of project management of important Rolling stock/traction/Signalling System works from domestic and international Vendors, as a team Leader.
