How to Apply to Doctors Walkin Drive at East Central Railway
”Walk-in-Interview” will be conducted by East Central Railway for engagement of full time General Duty Medical Practitioner/Specialists for Central cum Super Specialty Hospital/Patna. Willing Doctors who fulfill the qualification/eligibility criteria specified below may apply for the above engagement. The engagement will be purely on Contract basis for the period of one year which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis (not extendable beyond 12 years) or till the post filled by regular Doctors selected from UPSC or the scheme is available whichever is earlier.

Qualification for Specialists:
(a)Degree/Diploma in corresponding specialty mentioned above in remarks column. (b)Should be registered with Medical Council of India/Medical Council of State.
Qualification for GDMO :
(a) MBBS (Trained in ICU will get preference).
(b)Registered with Medical Council of India/Medical Council of State.
Remuneration for Specialists :
Rs.95,000/ (Rupees Ninty Five thousand only) for the 1st Year; Rs.105,000/ (Rupees One Lakh Five thousand only) for 2nd Year & onward per month, if Railway accommodation is not provided. If Railway accommodation is provided, deduction will be made from the monthly remuneration equivalent to House Rent Allowance payable on minimum pay to Senior Scale officer (Level-11 in 7th CPC) and fixed license fee for accommodation.
Remuneration for GDMO:
Rs.75,000/ (Rupees Seventy five thousand only) per month, if Railway accommodation is not provided. If Railway accommodation is provided, deduction will be made from the monthly remuneration equivalent to House Rent Allowance payable on minimum pay to Junior Scale officer (Level-10 in 7th CPC) and fixed license fee for accommodation.

- Age limit: – Not exceeding 53 years as on 12.11.2020 for both ie. Specialist & General Duty Doctors, which is relaxable by 05 (five) years for candidates belonging to SC/ST community & 03 (three) years for OBC as the case may be.

How to apply & Mode of Interview:-
Candidates intending to join as Contract Medical Practitioner should apply on prescribed format (enclosed) and submitt the same up to 10.30 A.M on the date of interview at the venue along with self attested photocopies of following documents and attend the “Walk-in-Interview” with original certificates mentioned below – (a) Proof of age.
- Proof of passing MBBS (with all year marks sheet), Internship, Degree, Diploma & other educational qualifications.
- Proof of registration in Indian Medical Council/Medical Council of State.
- Experience certificate if any.
- Proof of caste in case of SC/ST candidate & non-creamy layer certificate in case of OBC candidates. (only on prescribed format for Central Government will be accepted in case of OBC).
- Mark Sheet(s) of relevant qualification(s).
- 04 (four) copies of recent passport size photograph with self signature.
- Original Pension Payment Order book & self attested copy of the same in case of Retd. Doctor. (i) Service Certificate issue by Organization on Retirement, if available.
