Sub:- Notification for the post of Chief Electrical Engineer/RE (CEE/RE) on Deputation basis at Belapur/Margao/Udupi/Manglore. Ref:- Railway Board’s circular dated 07.03.2018.
Reference above, KRCL is in need of one officer from Indian Railways / Railway PSU as Chief Electrical Engineer/RE (CEE/RE) on Deputation basis at Belapur/Margao /Udupi/ Manglore. Requirement has been notified on KRCL website at link www.konkanrailway.com –> Recruitment –> Current notifications. As advised by Railway Board vide its letter referred above, PDF of the said notification is enclosed herewith for uploading the same on Indian Railways website for wide publicity. Deputation and Term of Deputation: Minium 3 years normal term of deputation
Term of Appointment: Deputation
Scale of Pay: SAG/IRSEE, in 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-14.
Pay and Allowances: In parent Railways pay plus deputation allowance.
Detailed Job description indicating age, requirement, discipline etc:
1) SAG/NFSAG/SG IRSEE officer having at least 16 years of Gr A service and preferably having experience of Railway Electrification (construction/ Maintenance works) or Maintaining TRD assets.
OR
2.Officers of Electrical Wing of Railway PSU, working in IDA scale level E-8 or working in level E-7 for at least 5 years.
Job description:
Officer shall be responsible for all works related to Electrification of Konkan Railway route including prepating estimates, tender documents, design and drawings, specifications, execution and monitoring of progress of field works including power supply arrangements. The officer is required to co-ordinate and liaise with all connected agencies and stake holders within Konkan Railway and outside, executing agencies as well as other related Organizations including Zonal Railways, CORE Allahabad, RDSO, CRS and various State Electricity Board officer will be posted in the field. He shall report to CEE/KRCL.
Minimum Eligibility:
- Applicant should have preferably experience of Railway Electrification. (Construction/ Maintenance etc).
- The applicant will not be allowed to withdraw the names in case they are selected for deputation.
- Age: Below 58 years. as on date of notification
- The date to which KRCL is exempted from the rule of immediate absorption: Three years w.e.f. 01.05.2016.
- Retention of Railway accommodation during deputation tenure in KRCL: Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible as per Board’s guideliness issued from time to time.
- Whether the Company Organization has been exempted from the rule of permanent absorption and if so the date upto which the exemption is valid:
- Railway Board vide letter No.2008/PL/50/10 dated 03/02/17 has exempted below Board posts from the rule of Immediate Absorption for a period of 03 years.
- Wherever name of a certain officer is recommended by the Company, his willingness should be enclosed: No
