Applications are invited from eligible Indian sportspersons to fill up 12 vacancies against Open Advertisement quota in Sports in Pay Band Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/2400 (03 posts) & Rs. 2000/1900 (09 posts) over various Divisions/Workshops/Units in Northern Railway in the following disciplines:-

(C) ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
(1)Minimum Educational Qualification :
Educational Qualification : Graduate for PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs. 2800/2400 (3 posts).
Educational qualification : Matriculate/ITI/Equivalent for PB -1 Rs. 5200-20200 Grade pay Rs. 2000/1900 (9 posts).
(No relaxation in education shall be permissible.)
(2)Age Limit : The sports person should be between 18 to 25 years of age as on 01/01/2012. No age relaxation for any candidate shall be permitted in any circumstances.
How to apply: The candidate fulfilling the conditions regarding eligibility of age, educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria as explained above should apply for the post notified as per application formats given in the advertisement on a good quality plain paper of A-4 size along with 2 latest passport size photographs (one duly pasted on the application form) duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. The application should be filled in by the candidates in their own handwriting and sent through ordinary post only to the following address:-

(i) Last date for receipt of application is 28.10.11 (up to 17:00 hrs) and no application will be entertained after the last date.
(ii) The envelope in which application is being sent should be given caption (indicating his field for example Hockey) in Capital letter as 400-E/18/Sports/Rect-/2011-12.
(iii) Only the application found complete in all respect will be entertained.
