Junior Site Engineer (Civil, Electrical & Signals)
Diploma Holders in (Civil / Electronics/ Electrical) having working experience of one year post qualification (Freshers can also apply)
Emoluments : The monthly remuneration of Site Engineer and Jr Site Engineer will be around Rs.27,000/- and Rs.21,000/- respectively. Candidates having relevant Railway-related experience will be considered for higher emoluments.
Place of Posting : Site Engineers/Junior Site Engineesr will be posted in the field at any of the following Projects under Project Implementation Unit of Hubli:- Hospet, Koppel, Hubli & Alvanar.
Mode of Application
1) Candidates are required to fill up forms on-line on the RVNL website (www.rvn.org). Please see the relevant page under “Opportunity/Careers”.
2) Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully while filling up the form online to avoid errors/rejection.
3) The on-line facility will be open for a specified period/time(0000 hrs of 26/07/2012 to 2359 hrs of 01/08/2012). Interested candidates must fill up the form within this specified time period of 7 days.
4) Applications beyond or before the specified period will not be accepted.
5) Candidates are requested to fill up the form online fist and then take out a printout of the same which should be sent by registered post/courier to the following

6) Applications sent by post without filling the on-line application will also be not
accepted.
Mode of Selection:
Mere applying for the post or possessing minimum qualification is no guarantee for an Interview Call. RVNL administration will decided short-listing of candidates for interview which will be purely based on the academic merit of the candidates.
However, candidates having Railway-related construction experience will be given weightage.
Date/Time/Place of Interview:
Interview of short-listed candidates will be held at Hubli or at a place decided by RVNL. Date/Time/Place of Interview will be published in the website of RVNL and the candidates advised about the same through SMS. Shortlisted candidates should report on time along with their original testimonials in support of the data mentioned in their application as per the schedule. Candidates should also note that their candidature is liable to be rejected at any point of time in the event of failure to produce the documentary proof in support of the data mentioned in their application form and in the event of any discrepancy found at the time of verification of the original documents.
