Sub: Recruitment against Sports Quota for 2014-15 in P.B-1. 5200-20200+ D.P. 1800 on Firozpur Division
It is hereby intimated that (Male) Sports persons possessing requisite standard in discipline of the under noted events are proposed to be recquited on different categories in P.B-1 5200-20200+G.P. 1800 against Sports Quota 2014-2015 on Firozpur Division of Northern Railway. The detailed conditions and programme of recruitment are given here as under:
a) Minimum/Norms for recruitment:- Represented the country in any of the Category ‘C’ Championship/events
OR
At lest 3rd position in Federation Cup Championship (Senior Category)
OR
Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross Country, in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championship
OR
At least 3rd position in Senior State Championship for all Units and Districts of the state
OR
As per instructions Railway Board letter No. 2011/E (Sports)/4 (1)/1/ Policy/Clarrification Dated 11.01.2012, the Sports person having the sports norms for Higher Grade Pay and applied against the vacancy for the Lower Grade Pay, can be considered for recruitment against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement.
b) Quota of the Recruitment
i) Hockey (Two Male) = One Forward One Half
ii) Badminton (One Male) = One
iii) Volleyball (Two Male) = One Centre Blocker One Attacker
Notification For Sports Quota in Firozpur Division of Northern Railway
c) Mode of Selection/Recruitment:- Selection shall be through the process of trials and viva-voce (interview) to be conducted will be advised separately. Selected persons shall be appointed in various category at any place over Firozpur Division of Northern Railway.
d) Pay Scale of Recruitment= P.B. 1 5200-20200+ G.P 1800
e) Age Limit for recruitment 18 to 25 years: Candidate should not be below 18 years and should not above 25 years as on 30.06.2014 No relaxation in lower or upper age limit will be permissible in such recruitment.
f) Academic Qualification:- Candidate should pass the minimum educational qualification (10th Passed)
g) Mode of submitting applications- Eligible candidates should submit their applications on the enclosed prescribed format together with:-
i) Passport size recent photograph duly signed on front
ii) Attested Photostat copies of certificates with regard to proof of age, educational & Sports qualification SC/ST/OBC communities
iii) Examination Fee of Rs. 40/- through un-refundable crossed IPO/Demand Draft Drawn in favour of “Senior Divisional Finance Manager, Northern Railway, Firozpur Cant to be purchased on or after the date of publications of employment notice. Examination Fee of Rs. 10/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, they will however be required to send one unstamped self addressed envelop to this office with the application.
