While attending the Interview, the candidates are requested to bring all relevant certificates in original with attested copies of the same in support of age, qualification, medical registration, experience etc. and two passport size photographs self attested and application duly filled in as per format given (with one of the two photographs pasted).The candidates should be prepared to stay back for one day, if required, at their own expense.
How to Apply to Walkin Interview for Doctors – Eastern Railway (Contract)
:TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
- NAME OF THE POST: Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP) on full time contract basis.
- NATURE OF ENGAGEMENT:
- The engagement is purely on contractual basis for one year or till regularly UPSC selected Doctors (ADMO/DMO/Sr.DMO) become available whichever is earlier. Further the services of these doctors are also terminable before the expiry of one year. The services rendered as contract doctors is a stop gap arrangement and will not have any bearing in respect of consideration of the period in case of regular selection through UPSC. It will also not confer any right for automatic regularization/absorption in any circumstances. The entry level age limit of candidates for appointment as Contract Medical Practitioners (CMP) is 53 as on 01.01.2020. CMP will not continue as such after 65 years of age or up to 12 terms of engagement whichever is earlier. The terms of engagement shall not exceed more than one year in each term.
- Retired IRMS Officer/ Retired Govt. Medical Officer of state Govt. and Central Govt. are also eligible to engage themselves as CMP. The number of annual term of engagement of Retired/Government doctors engage as CMPs is revised from the exiting FIVE to SEVEN subject to attaining the age limit of 67 years whichever is earlier and each term of engagement shall not more than one year.
- REMUNERATION: Rs.75,000/- per month for G.D.M.O. if Govt. accommodation is not provided. Contract Medical Practitioners for whom Railway accommodation is provided with an amount equivalent to the sum of HRA and license fee of the accommodation so provided will be deducted from the monthly remuneration.
- QUALIFICATION: MBBS from a recognized University and must have completed rotating internship for one year and should be in possession of a valid Registration Certificate of any of the State Medical Council of India,
