In Pursuance of clause 6 of the above-mentioned vacancy notice, it has been decide to hold the selection on the posts of Assistant Company Secretaries(Two Posts) on the basis of written test and interview .
Components of written examination:
Component: General (MCQ)
Marks: 50
Syllabus: General Intelligence, Reasoning, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension.
Component: Domain area (MCQ)
Marks: 100
Syllabus:
a) Company Law and Company Secretarial Practices–conduct of Board/General Meetings, Maintenance of statutory record;
b) Drafting and conveyance of agreements (including legal vetting);
c) Handling of Parliament questions and other correspondence with Ministry/Govt. Department/ Guidelines;
d) Handling RTI references and issues;
e) Legal issues / legal matters in co-ordination with solicitors and advocates. (Parts (a) to (c) will comprise 60 marks and parts (d) & (e) will comprise 40 marks)
The above components are tentative as there may be variation in nature of components and the marks allotted
Admit cards to the short listed candidates will be issued shortly by e-mail. In case any provisionally shortlisted candidate does not receive admit card in his e-mail by 30-12-2016, he may download the blank admit card from the ‘careers’ section of RailTel’s website and bring it to RailTel on the day of written examination after attaching the latest photograph and filling the complete address therein
