Eligibility:
Retired/ Retiring in next 6 months from mechanical cadre of Indian Railway.
Age
Not more that 62 Years (at the time of applying for the post.)
Experience
Experience in Production/Maintenance of Diesel Locomotives of Indian Railways in production units/Railway Workshops/Sheds.
under Ministry of Railways engaged in the construction of turnkey infrastructure projects in Railways, Highways, Buildings, Power sectors, etc. The Company has recorded a turnover of more than Rs. 3254 crores in the year 2010-11. The Company has successfully completed large value Railway and Highway Projects in India and abroad including Malaysia, Bangladesh, Algeria, Iraq, Syria, etc. IRCON invites applications from retired Indian Railway Loco staff for following categories at fixed all inclusive salary for posting at its Malaysia Project on service contract basis:
Medical standards: Selected individuals should be in sound health, have good visual acuity and should be free from colour-blindness.
Selection Process: Through interview.
A. The above posts are only for the specific Project and not for the regular establishment of IRCON. The appointment will be initially for six months, extendable further till completion of the project if the services of the candidates are found to be satisfactory or employee reaching the age of 65 whichever is earlier. However, the appointment is co-terminus with the project and will not confer any right to claim absorption in regular establishment of the company or for appointment in other projects of the company.
B1 There are no allowances over and above the fixed pay (except mentioned above). On foreign Projects bachelor accommodation will be provided at the Project site.
B2 Reimbursement for indoor treatment for self at the place of posting only would be permissible.
B3 No PF will be deducted from consolidated amount as they are already retired employees.
B4 One leave for each calendar month of service which can be availed during the contract period. Leave can be carried forward and accumulated but no leave encashment for unavailed leave is allowed during the contract or on resignation or termination of contract. No other type of leave would be admissible.
B5 One weekly off and other public holidays when the project office remains closed would be available.
B6 TA/ DA would also be admissible if deputed on outstation duty.
B7 Working hours will be the same as for the project office.
B8 No other perks or benefits would be admissible except the above.
