Applications are invited from the eligible and excellent, Male sports persons in the given format for Selection of 02 sports persons for SEALDAH Division in PB-1 scale 5200-20200/-with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- against sports quota open advertisement for the year 2012-13.

Minimum Educational Qualification: Matriculation Or ITI pass
Age as on 01-01-2013: 18 to 25 Years
However, Sports persons having OUTSTANDING Sports achievements (mentioned in item No.4, below) and who are only Class-VIII pass may be considered for recruitment in (–) Is Pay Band Rs.4440-7440/- and shall not carry any Grade Pay. Such Sports persons will be given the regular Pay Band P.B.-1 of Rs. 5200-20200/- along with Gr.Pay of Rs.1800/- only on acquiring the minimum educational qualification under the recruitment rules or passing the requisite training test.
Sports Discipline : (1) Football (Male) –Defender ( 2) Golf (Male)
N. B. :- If suitable player is not found in any one of the above discipline the same will be adjusted on other Sports discipline as mentioned above.
How to apply :
a. Application shall be submitted in prescribed format of A4 size quality paper as per Annexure-A. The application should be in English or in Hindi Language only and should be filled up clearly and neatly only in English / Hindi / Regional Language by the candidate himself in INK pen by his own handwriting and signed in
normal signature in English/ Hindi / Regional Language.
b. Application signed in capital letters will be treated as invalid and rejected.
Photographs:-
(i) One recent Passport size photograph ( Not earlier than three months from the date of application) with clear front view of the candidate without Cap/ Sunglass / wigs duly signed by the candidate on the top of the photograph should be pasted on the application in the space provided.
(ii) Two identical Photographs also duly signed by the candidate containing name and address on the back side of photograph
should be attached with application form.
3. A candidate should put his left Thumb impression in black Printers ink at the designed space in the Application form. The
thumb impression must be clear and visible.
