DMRC, a Government owned company, at par with Schedule ‘A’ Central PSUs, has been set up for implementation and operation of rail-based Mass Rapid Transit System in Delhi. The company intends to appoint following official:
- DIRECTOR (WORKS)
The incumbent of the above post shall be member of the Board of Directors of DMRC and will report to the Managing Director of the company. The appointment to this post will be on contract basis presently for the period of 5 years.(However the tenure of the post is likely to be extended further).
Age Limit: – Preferably between 45 to 55 years but not more than 58 years as on 1/7/2011
Emoluments: – The pay scale of the post is Rs.75000-100000 (IDA) and other allowances/perks/privileges applicable to the Directors of Schedule ‘A’ Central PSUs.
Qualification and Experience for the Post:-
ESSENTIAL:- Degree in Civil Engineering from an institution of repute along with a proven track record of twenty five (25) years of Group ‘A’ / Executive Service.
(2) Should have a minimum of five (5) years experience in handling multi -disciplinary engineering projects preferably in urban situations including services in land acquisition and rehabilitation of project affected persons.
(3) Should have extensive experience in preparing tender documents, selection of contractors and project management of important engineering structures such as bridges/tunnels from domestic and international vendors as a team leader. Experience in underground constructions is desirable.
(4) Should have experience and knowledge of inter-facing with Railway related disciplines such as track laying works, signaling, electrification and rolling stock, etc.
(5) Should have experience of all phases of rail based urban transportation projects, on international bidding contracts basis i.e. Planning, Bid Documents, Bidding, Execution, Commissioning, post Commissioning etc. Experience in handling consultancy works and land monetization will be preferred.
(6) Should have experience and knowledge of complying with project related requirements of international funding institutions.
(7) The candidates should be working in the SA grade (with grade pay of Rs.10000 in Pay Band 4 of
revised CDA grade of Rs.37400-67000 or equivalent IDA grade i.e. Rs/ 51300-73000/ for a minimum
period of five (5) years.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
He shall be responsible for the overall planning for the project including design and architecture, tendering, contracting and overall project administration, supervision of construction and commissioning, etc. He will also be responsible for project monitoring, quality assurance and safety, cost control, land acquisition, rehabilitation of project affected persons/business, utility and traffic diversions, etc.
