A new notification is expected to restart the recruitment process starting from September 2021.
Level 2 (Gr. C) Candidate must have passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Level 1 (Erstwhile Gr. D) A candidate must be 10th passed or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th passed plus ITI or 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering /Mechanical/Electrical/Signal & Telecom Departments)
Indian railway follows 7th pay commission for deciding the salary amount for all levels on and after recruitment. This also includes deputation posts being published for metro rail openings across various cities in India. Expansion to Metro railway in Kolkata, Bengaluru, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai and new metro train in new cities like Bhubaneswar, Cochin, Nagpur, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Indore, Bhopal.
Salary Structure in Indian Railway 2021
Pay band 1: The workers who work under the pay band 1 such as senior commercial clerks, senior transit clerks and so on are drawing salary of Rs. 5200/- to Rs. 20, 200/- which will be raised to Rs. 15, 600/- to Rs. 50, 500/- after 7th pay commission.
Pay band 2: employees such as commercial superintendent, chief ticket inspector, chief enquiry and reservation supervisors and many others fall under the pay band 2. These employees draw salary of Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34, 800/- which will be Rs. 23, 250/- to Rs. 87, 000/- after the 7th pay commission
Pay band 3: under pay band 3, there are employees such as senior grade post grads teachers, selection grade teachers (post graduate) and so on. These employees draw salary of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39, 100/- which will be hiked to Rs. 39, 000/- to Rs. 97, 750/-.
Pay band 4: under pay band 4, the employees used to get Rs. 37, 400/- to Rs. 67,000/-. Now they will get Rs. 93, 500/- to Rs. 1, 67, 500/- after 7th pay commission announcement.
