Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications:
A Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a recognized University in relevant discipline. A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an institution recognized by State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Qualifications:
A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline. Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Qualifications:
The degree in B. B. A., B. Com, B. C. A. & B.S.W. granted by a statutory university in relevant discipline / or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an act of parliament in relevant discipline / graduate evaluation of professional bodies recognized by the state government or central government as equivalent to above.
Essential qualifications:
Diploma / General Graduate / Engineering Graduate Candidate passed their Diploma / Degree course recognized by AICTE or GOI, on or after 01 April 2021 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit (as on 01-03-2026)
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 27 Years
Age relaxation by 5 yrs. for SC/ST, 3 yrs. for OBC-NCL and 10 yrs. for Physically challenged

Rs. 12300 /- (for Graduate Apprentice) i.e., 7800 (MDL Share) + 4500 (Govt. Share through DBT*)
Rs. 10900 /- (for Diploma Apprentices) i.e., 6900 (MDL Share) + 4000 (Govt. Share through DBT*) *DBT -Direct Benefit Transfer

Based on Application received from MDL Apprentice portal, applicants will be called for document verification & interview at MDL, as per marks obtained in the qualifying examination, the candidates will be required to furnish documents regarding proof of Date of Birth, Qualification, and Category etc.
The selection for apprenticeship training shall be made based on combined merit prepared after considering 80% of qualification marks & 20% of interview marks.
The date, time and venue for document verification would be intimated to the shortlisted candidates accordingly, in their email id registered on portal as well as on uploading details on Company’s website (https://mazagondock.in – under Career / Apprentice).
Every candidate should have a valid email id & mobile no. and the same has to be registered with Apprentice portal. The email id & mobile no. must remain active until the end of the training programme in respect of the selected candidates. MDL will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent due to invalid / wrong E-mail ID provided by the aspirant or delivery of e-mails to SPAM / BULK mail folder etc.
Candidate has to attend the document verification & interview on the date & time at MDL mandatorily, intimated by the Company. Failure by the candidate to attend the document verification process on the date & time at the venue, would be treated as his/her unwillingness to accept the final selection procedure for the Graduate / Diploma Apprentice with MDL and those candidates will not be considered in further Selection Procedure.
The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC shall produce their caste certificate in the prescribed format issued by the Competent Authority under Government of India, during document verification.
Candidates have to produce their valid ID card, i.e., AADHAR / PAN / Voters ID / Driving License / Certificate Issued by Educational Institute, during document verification.
Shortlisted candidates merely attending the documents verification & Interview process do not entail selection of his/her candidature as Apprentice with MDL.
It will be mandatory for Graduate / Diploma Applicants that they are not doing any other full time / regular course at the time of training otherwise candidature will be cancelled.
No application for altering the date & time and venue for Document verification & Interview would be accepted.
The selected candidates have to submit medical fitness certificate from a Govt. hospital of their location before joining apprenticeship training.
No TA / DA will be paid to the applicants called for any stage of induction process.
General Information/Instructions
Incomplete applications / applications not supported by self-authenticated copies of relevant documents/ application not meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria / application received through other than MDL Apprentice portal or applications received after the last date stipulated for receipt of applications shall be summarily rejected.
The decision of MDL Management will be final and binding on candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the submission, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process (either in part or full) etc. Filling up of the vacancies is solely at the discretion of the management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for engagement, if some of the vacancies left unfilled for any reason.
The candidature of the applicants would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates / testimonial, at any stage of the final selection process, if it is found that the aspirant has furnished false or incorrect information then the candidature / placement of the candidate is liable to be cancelled.
The candidates are advised to check MDL Apprentice portal as well as their email regularly or to contact office for enquiry.
Please note that, upon completion of the apprenticeship period, MDL shall have no obligation to offer employment to such apprentices nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the grounds of completion of Apprenticeship.
Incomplete / Erroneous online Application or late applications received after due date will be rejected without any information in this regards.
In case of any discrepancy / confusion arises in the Hindi version, English version of the notification will be acceptable.

Login to MDL Online Portal with “Username” & “Password”

While applying, candidate should have the scanned copy of recent passport size colour photograph, their signature & other relevant certificates.
Refer the instructions carefully and fill up all the details in the Online Application Form.
Applicants should register on NATS 2.0 portal and submit the registration number along with the application.
Candidates may enter ‘NA’ in the mandatory fields not applicable to them.

Check preview of the Application form and make corrections, if any. Any changes in the application form need to be edited before clicking on “Submit”. After submission, no communication or correspondence will be entertained for correction in the Online Application Form.
