It has been brought to the notice of this Company i.e The Braithwaite Burn and Jessop Construction Company Limited herein after called the “Company” that fraudulent attempts have been made by some people to imitate, replicate and impersonate the contents both linguistic and pictorial of the website of the Company. The said fraudulently replicated website in the name of others is launched in the electronic media being neither connected nor linked to the Company owning the website has allegedly started alluring people with all sorts of misrepresentation and falsehood aiming to cause injury and deception prejudicial to their genuine interest. Publication of Employment Advertisement and solicitation to make financial commitments are some of the counterfeit move taken by the offender under the aegis of the impersonate website.
The said action in form and contents by whatever name called amounts to infringement and constitutes criminal offence triable under The Copy Right Act 1957 and Indian Penal Code 1860 and other applicable Laws in force . Stringent actions in terms of the said statutes are being taken against the perpetrators of the Crime for purported criminal actions and fraudulent activities indulged by them.
